★GYARU SONGS, ALBUMS, AND ARTISTS★

welcome! this is the first article ive written for this website so pardon me if it's a little bad, messy, or lowkey aggressive at times. today im gonna be talking about some music that i think would be considered gyaru-esque. before you bomb my email and flame me saying "GYARU ISNT A MUSIC BASED SUBCULTURE RAAAAH" yes i know. no-one really talks about the music aspect of being gyaru because everyone is busy yelling at eachother saying its not music based. so before we get into this article let me clarify that i am well aware gyaru is not music based, and no, you're not REQUIRED to listen to these songs to be considered "truly gyaru" (you should just listen to them because they're good). the songs/albums/artists on this list are mostly in japanese, however there are a few exceptions to that. also, the artists on this list mostly aren't gyarus/gyaru-os themselves (again there are exceptions which will be noted), so most of this is based purely off of vibes + some of what actual 90s/2000s/2010s gyarus used to listen to.
